This workshop has been approved by the IGCT and upon completion, you can obtain insurance for its use. The workshop covers the application Dry Cupping Therapy for the treatment of Musculoskeletal Dysfunction. It is an ideal workshop for those who wish to introduce this modality into their day-to-day practice. The workshop is a combination of both theory and practical application. You will cover the following areas.

  • Introduction to Dry Cupping Therapy (historical perspective)
  • Why use Dry Cupping (physiology of Dry Cupping Therapy)
  • Contraindications to treatment
  • Application of use (static cupping, flash cupping, sliding, soft tissue release (STR), and active movement techniques (AMT).

Assessment 

  • Continual assessment throughout the day using a case study approach
  • Short multi-choice paper (12 questions
