DEGREES OF REIKI
Training in Reiki is at different levels. You progress from one degree to the next according to your rate of personal experience and inner growth.
REIKI LEVEL 1
The first stage of Reiki is suitable for all people, including those with no experience of Reiki. It is for self treatment, friends and family. Carried out over two days , the workshop covers history, the principles of Reiki, meditation, level one energy attunements and hand positions. The classes are a combination of lecture, discussion and practical experience. Practice time includes giving and receiving a complete Reiki treatment (on others and on yourself) using all the hand positions.

REIKI LEVEL II
Several months following Reiki I attunement you may wish to consider second degree Reiki attunement. This level is for students who would like to learn more and give a deeper meaning to their treatments or to advance to practitioner level. Carried out over four days, classes include; the Reiki two symbols and how to use them, distance healing, using Reiki to heal unwanted habits, healing of the planet and Reiki two attunement. Also included in the course are the original Japanese techniques. Reiki II students are required to complete a number of case studies to receive a certificate.

JAPANESE TECHNIQUES.
In the past several years information on Dr Usui, his life and work in Japan has come to light. This course includes original Reiki techniques that have so far been unknown to the western world. These techniques are an important part of the energy system. They include, a breathing technique to strengthen your energy, meditation, tapping and stroking techniques , a group hands on session, a group energy exercise and much more. A manual and attendance certificate is issued.
As this is not another level of Reiki but an enhancement, this course is open to all people from any lineage that have been attuned to Reiki II (completion of case studies not necessary). Course is run over two days.

ADVANCED REIKI TRAINING (A.R.T.)
1: The Usui Master attunement which increases the strength of your Reiki energy.
2: The Usui Master symbol, which increases the effectiveness of the Reiki II symbols and can be used for healing.
3: Reiki meditation that strengthens the mind and expands the consciousness.
4: Advanced techniques for using Reiki to solve problems and achieve goals.
5: Using Reiki to protect yourself and others .
6: How to make a Reiki crystal grid that will continue to send Reiki to yourself and others after it is charged.
7: Reiki aura clearing that allows you to remove negative energy from yourself and others and send it to the light.
8: A guided meditation that introduces you to your Reiki guides from whom you receive healing and information.
9: An exercise for those planning to take Reiki III/Master training.
This course is open to those who have completed their Reiki II training including case studies and Japanese Techniques training.
Carried out over two days.

REIKI III MASTER/TEACHER
Includes:
1: The complete Reiki III Usui/Tibetan Master attunement.
2: Instruction on how to do all Reiki attunements including the Master attunement.
3: The Usui/Tibetan system of attunements as well as the Usui system.
4: Two additional Tibetan symbols for a total of six.
5: Lots of practise time carrying out attunements.
6: How to give yourself attunements.
7: Advanced Reiki meditation that harmonizes the energy of the chakras.
A MANUAL IS PROVIDED
A requirement for this course is;
1: The completion of Reiki II including case studies.
2; Knowledge of Original Japanese techniques.
3: Advanced Reiki training
4: A minimum of three years since Reiki One.
The course is flexible in that seven days classroom attendance is required, but that can be either a) every day for a week. b) once a week for seven weeks. c) once a month for seven months.
Also required is:
5: Attendance at Dee's Reiki courses (2 x Reiki one) and (2 x Reiki II), A.R.T. and Master/Teacher as an observer and assistant. A report for each class will be asked for.
6: Attendance and assistance at 3 Reiki support evenings.
7: A 3000 word essay on a topic of Reiki.
8: The giving and receiving of 50 sessions of Reiki, 5 being assessed, since completing A.R.T.
9: The receiving and recording of 10 Reiki sessions from somebody who is at least Advanced Reiki level.

KARUNA REIKI(R)
Karuna Reiki(R) evolved out of Usui and Tibetan Reiki from a desire and a knowingness that there is always something greater waiting to be uncovered.
Karuna is a Sanskrit word and is used in Hinduism, Buddhism and Zen. It translates to mean 'compassionate action'. William Rand developed the healing system in the early 1990's to enhance the traditional Usui Reiki. People attending this course will be qualified Reiki Masters already. Karuna Reiki(R) is taught only by those who are registered with The International Centre for Reiki Training. All students on this course will be registered with the Centre and will receive two certificates qualifying as both registered practitioners and registered teachers of Karuna Reiki(R). Karuna Reiki(R) has two levels and eight symbols. Each symbol has a different frequency. There is a symbol to reduce pain and prepare for deep healing, one to heal deeply, one to fill the client with love, one to ground, one to bring peace and so on. Having more symbols is like a repair person who when they first start off has only four tools but as they become more experienced they learn to work with a larger number of tools and so are able to handle a wider range of problems.
This course is carried out over two weekends.
PART ONE
Includes two Practitioner level attunements, the first 8 symbols and the theory and practice of treatment methods using Karuna Reiki(R).
This stage is followed by a three month gap - for personal practice.
PART TWO
Includes two Master level attunements, the theory and practice of the two Master levels and four Master symbols, plus all the attunement processes for the whole system.
